Filipino two-division world champion Donnie 'Ahas' Nietes weighed in at the flyweight limit of 112 lbs while former world champion Edgar Sosa of Mexico came in at 111.5 lbs during the official weighin in front of a highly partisan mostly Filipino crowd held at the Eagle Rock Plaza Mall here Friday noon (early Saturday in Manila) as the 'Philippines vs Mexico' boxing event is all systems go at the StubHub Center Saturday afternoon. Nietes (38-1-4, 22KOs), who is fighting for the first time as a flyweight, and Sosa (52-9-0, 30KOs) will contest the WBO international flyweight title for 12 rounds.
