NBA --- Lowry's late 3 stuns Cavs, 99-97

TORONTO - The Toronto Raptors roared back from a 14-point second half deficit to turn back the Cleveland Cavaliers, 99-97, on Friday night at the Air Canada Centre.
Kyle Lowry drained a 3 with 3.8 seconds remaining to seal Cleveland's fate. It was Lowry's first game winner in his 10-year NBA career, carrying the Raptors on his back while teammates DeMar DeRozan and Cory Joseph battled flu-like symptoms.
Lowry also sank a nifty floater at the end of the third quarter which sliced the Cavs' lead to 77-68 entering the final 12 minutes of play. Kyle continued his assault on the Cavs by opening the 4th quarter with a 3-pointer.
With under 4 minutes left, Lowry swished a turn-around jumper that put the Raptors to within 2. All told, Lowry scattered 17 points in the fourth quarter on the way to a career-high 43 points.
"He just had a hell of game. That's what All-Stars do." said LeBron James.
The Raptors have now won two out of the three games against Cleveland this season. This encounter was perceived by many as potentially a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Asked if his team put anything extra on this game. Casey said, "It's just one game. If we come back and stub our toe on Sunday night, what does that mean? Nothing, zero, it is only one of 82."
