By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Sun, 12 Oct 2025

WORLD-rated Esneth “Hard Hitter” Domingo will face former Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation [OPBF] light flyweight champion Miel “Silent Assassin” Fajardo on October 26 at the Thrilla in Manila 2 Countdown at the San Andres Sports Complex in Malate, Manila.
They will fight for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific flyweight title.
The 26-year-old Domingo, no. 11 in the IBF, lost to Jukiya Limura by a unanimous decision for the OPBF flyweight title last May 3 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
Domingo [22-3-0, 14KOs] later made a comeback with a 3rd round technical knockout against Ariston Aton of Lapu-Lapu City last August 31 at Phela Grande Convention Center in General Santos City.
Fajardo [12-3-2, 11KOs], on the other hand, won the OPBF light flyweight title by a 1st round TKO against Cebu’s John Paul Gabunilas last August 15, 2023 in Lapu-Lapu City.
But he suffered two successive setbacks.
He lost his OPBF title against Thanongsak Simsri by a unanimous decision last April 13, 2024 at EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan.
Fajardo then suffered a UD against Mchania Yohana for the vacant WBO Global flyweight crown last December 26, 2024 in South Africa.
Fajardo made his winning track again by knocking out Miller Alapormina in the 1st round last August 25 at Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.
Manny Pacquiao is the promoter.
