SUPER 8 FOOTY TAG TEAM SHOW DOWN PhilBoxing.com Mon, 04 Jan 2016  EIGHT FOOTBALL CLUBS WILL GO TOE TO TOE FOR THE INAUGURAL BRAYD SMITH- Super 8 tag-team footy fight on January 29 on the undercard of Paul Gallen vs Herman Ene-Purcell II at Rumours International. The winning team will receive prize money of $5000. "Every time we have had a footy tag team fight on any of our past promotions they've stolen the show," Promoter Brendon Smith said. "This time we have $5000 up for grabs so it's great to give something back to one of the clubs. "We have Valleys, Pittsworth, the Clydesdales, Brothers, Rangers Rugby, Highfields and Saint George confirmed with one spot pending. "If there is any club out there that would like to take part get in contact with us but we do only have one spot left. "It's a great to have this addition to our card," Smith said. The previous footy tag team bouts have had a bit of everything. They've brought the crowd to their feet and provided plenty of entertainment. "It's 4x1 min rounds and each team has three fighters with one fighter in the ring at a time with unlimited tags," Brendon Smith said. "It's fast, it's furious and anything can happen. "It caps off a great card. "Five pro fights and the Brayd Smith Super 8 Footy tag team," Smith said. The finalised card is as follows. Herman Ene-Purcell vs Paul Gallen. Kris George vs Andrew Wallace Steven Spark vs Dan Beverly Brent Moore vs Ashley Stevens Jamie Hilt vs Ben Kite. Brayd Smith Super 8 Footy Tag Team. "This promises to be the biggest card we've seen," Smith said.
