NBA - Lowry stars in Raptors' romp over Clippers
By Noel Salazar PhilBoxing.com Tue, 06 Oct 2015

VANCOUVER --- Kyle Lowry proved to be too fast, too quick, and too good for the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night.
The 6-foot, 205-pound guard, a 9-year veteran out of Villanova, sank 7-of-10 field goals for 26 points to power the Toronto Raptors to a convincing 93-73 victory in front of a capacity crowd of 19,000 at the Rogers Arena. Lowry, 29, also drilled 11-of-12 free throws in 21 minutes and 34 seconds of play.
Threether Raptors finished with double figures in points as Luis Scola contributed 13 points and eight boards. DeMar DeRozan had 11 points while Jonas Valanciunas pitched in 10 points and 12 rebounds.
J.J. Redick led the Clippers with 15 points while Blake Grififn had 15. Chris Paul, who logged just 23 minutes, was held to only seven points and eight assists and the Clippers converted only 27 of their 71 shots (38 percent). Los Angeles missed 10 of 15 triples and made 14 of 20 free throws.
