RESULTS FROM FIGHTS IN DALI

DALI, CHINA ? Wu Zhi Yu beat Cheng Yong Yang by unanimous decision in their all-Chinese heavyweight battle that capped off a night of boxing action at the Dali Gym. It was a tough give and take six rounder that was well appreciated by the near sell-out crowd.
In the lone female match-up, Jin Shi of China won by TKO in the sixth round against Pantiwa Kaewmahosod of Thailand. Jin scored two knockdowns in the sixth.
The heavyweights and the female fights were sanctioned by the WBC.
For the bouts under the Professional Boxing Commission (PBC) of China:
Su Shi Long knocked down Chen Zhi Jun with hard body shots twice in the second round prompting Referee Atty. Danrex Tapdasan to stop the bout.
Fu Dong Zheng won by unanimous decision over Pan Jun after four rounds, Lin Li Quan beat Ye Rong Cheng by split verdict after four rounds, Alimu Tuerson won a four round unanimous decision over Yangguan Nan, Li Le Shan beat Jiang Chang Jian by TKO in the opening round and Zhou Jia Lun won by unanimous decision over Xu Run Long.
