BASADRE AND DEMECILLO BATTLE IN GENSAN JUNE 7

The WBA Oceania bantamweight belt will be at stake when Daryl Basadre and Kenny Demecillo collide at the Robinson?s Mall Atrium in Gen. Santos City.
The 22 year old Basadre (14-1-1,10KO?s), who sports the moniker ?Flash?, won the WBC Youth bantamweight title against Thai Yodsindaeng Jor Chaijinda by 8th round TKO in Ishikawa, Japan. Basadre also previously acquired the WBF International and WBC Asia titles.
The 22 year old Demecillo (8-3-1,5KO?s) had back to back stoppage wins against Rogen Flores and Nicardo Calamba before losing to Jetro Pabustan by unanimous verdict. Basadre vs Demecillo is set for twelve rounds.
Promoter Jim Claude Manangquil informed philboxing of this match-up.
Also set to see action are Rimar Metuda vs Jerry Castroverde - featherweight 8rounds, Joy joy Formentera vs Jenny Boy Buca - 8 rounds flyweight, Markquil Salva?a vs Marvin Tampus - 8 rounds super bantamweight, Cristian Araneta vs Allan Doronilla 6 rounds flyweight, Jack Tepora vs Eric Barcelona - 8rounds superbantamweight, Jonathan Francisco vs Raymond Dayham - 6 rds superflyweight, Jether Oliva vs Amiro Ricablanca - flyweight 8rounds, Mike Angelo Plania vs Philip Parcon- 8rounds superbantamweight, and Reymart Gaballo vs Dave Ugbamin- 6rounds bantamweight.
