TECATE AND TECATE LIGHT GIVE FANS 21+ A ?TASTE OF TRIUMPH? LEADING UP TO PACQUIAO VS. ALGIERI FIGHT

PhilBoxing.com

Official Fight Sponsors Offer Adult Fans Opportunity to Win Trip to Macau, China, among Other Prizes

NEW YORK (Oct. 8, 2014) ? Tecate and Tecate Light, cervezas con car?cter and long-time boxing sponsors, will provide fans 21-and-older the opportunity to win a variety of VIP experiences leading up to the Manny Pacquiao vs. Chris Algieri fight on November 22. These experiences are designed to give them a chance to ?Taste the Triumph?, just like one of the boxers. Promoted by Top Rank, the fight will be broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View from the Venetian Macao?s Cotai Arena in China.

?This is one of the biggest fights of the year, and boxing fans around the world have been counting down the days until Pacquiao and Algieri meet in the ring to prove who has enough car?cter, determination and talent to ?Taste Triumph? when the bell rings. As sponsors of the fight, it was important for us to provide fans 21-and-older in the U.S. with several opportunities to experience this moment, whether they?re watching live in Macau, at an exclusive viewing party in Las Vegas or at home,? said Gustavo Guerra, brand director for Tecate and Tecate Light.

Fans 21 and older living in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico will not be disappointed with Tecate and Tecate Light?s promotions surrounding Pacquiao vs. Algieri. At the center is a ?Taste of Triumph? sweepstakes, giving them a chance to win the Grand Prize consisting of a VIP trip for two to Macau, China to watch the fight live, including round-trip airfare, hotel for three nights, premium tickets to the fight at the Venetian Macau, and VIP access to various fight week events.

One First Prize winner will be awarded a trip for two to Las Vegas during the fight weekend, including transportation, hotel accommodations and VIP access to the official Pacquiao vs. Algieri Viewing Party; while ten Second Prizes, consisting of a streaming code to the HBO PPV event and a $100 gift card, will allow additional fans 21 and older to watch the fight at home con car?cter. To participate in the sweepstakes, residents of participating states can text the word ?TASTEOFTRIUMPH? to 55678 and upon receiving a verification message, enter their 8-digit date of birth and code of state of residence (e.g. MM/DD/YYYY-AZ); or follow on-screen entry instructions on www.wrbu-entry.com/Tecate-TCBoxing-2014 between October 1 and October 31st.

To ensure fans have the ultimate boxing experience at home, Tecate will also have various rebates and coupons available at grocery stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico, including a mail-in-rebate worth up to $30 off of the live HBO PPV event with the purchase of a Tecate or Tecate Light 18-pack (equivalent or larger), and other discount off fight-night snack essentials. All promotions are valid only where legal and available.
