AGUELO WINS ABF BELT IN TALISAY

Adones Aguelo aka Aguelo A. Singwangcha captured the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) super featherweight title by 8th round TKO against Bonnie Makiling in the main event of "Pinaksitay sa Talisay" held Saturday at the Talisay City Sports Complex.
Aguelo is now managed by Thai boxing patron and promoter Naris Singwangcha. Aguelo?s TKO win was due to a cut around Makiling?s right eye. His stablemates from the Noy Pacing Boxing Academy also were victorious - Gerpaul Valero won via TKO in the 3rd round, Ardie Boyose won via UD, Neil John Tabanao won via UD and Joey Canoy won via UD.
The 26 year old Aguelo (21-10-2,13KO?s) has fought overseas in his last four bouts , losing in Mexico to Nery Saguilan and Sergio Thompson and has a 1W-1D record in Japan against Hirohito Fukuhara and Ryuto Koguchi respectively.
