NBA -- Cavs get a whole lot of Love

MIAMI- Cleveland's chances of ending the city's 50-year championship drought have never been brighter.
The Cavaliers acquired six-year forward Kevin Love from Minnesota in a three-way trade Sunday morning. In exchange Timberwolves obtained the last two years' top picks in Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett. The Wolves also fetched forward Thaddeus Young from the 76ers, while Philadelphia received forward Luc Mbah a Moute, guard Alexey Shved and a first round draft pick from Cleveland (Miami's 2015 ) from the Timberwolves.
Love alongside Lebron James and Kyrie Irving will form a formidable trio in Cleveland. The UCLA product has career averages of 19.2 points and 12.2 rebounds. He was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2008 NBA draft but was later traded to Minnesota as for OJ Mayo. Love spent his entire 6 seasons with the Timberwolves franchise.
Kevin Love will join fellow newcomers Mike Miller, Shawn Marion and James Jones with the new look Cleveland roster. Love is also expected to sign a contract extension with the Cavaliers. (JC)
