Fight Network Launches on Texas-Based Grande Communications on Aug. 1, 2014 PhilBoxing.com Sat, 02 Aug 2014 TORONTO | NEW YORK (August 1, 2014) - Fight Network, the world's premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, today announced that it is expanding onto Texas-based cable system Grande Communications. Beginning on Aug. 1, 2014, Fight Network can be found on channel 240. It will be available as part of the Ultra Sports Tier. Fight Network is a 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports. It airs programs focused on the entire scope of the combat sports genre, including live fights and up-to-the-minute news and analysis for mixed martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, professional wrestling, traditional martial arts, fight news, as well as fight-themed drama series, documentaries and feature films. Serving over 140,000 customers across Texas, Grande Communications offers a full suite of Internet, TV and phone services for residential and business customers. Since launching 10 years ago, it has built a state-of-the-art, high-capacity fiber optic network using the latest technological advancements in broadcast communications. Regions served include Dallas, Midland/Odessa, Waco, Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio and Corpus Christi. Fight Network also launched in the U.S. on Cablevision's Optimum TV on June 26, 2014 and it can be found on channel 464. The network is available as part of the Optimum Gold and Optimum Sports & Entertainment Pak.
