PhilBoxing.com

MILWAUKEE BUCKS DANCERS AUDITION FINALE IS TONIGHT! ? After weeks of preparation that included prep classes, auditions, call-backs, a rigorous boot camp and a vote for the fan favorite, tonight is the night for the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers LIVE audition finale.

The LIVE audition finale for the 30 dance hopefuls will take place TONIGHT at 7 p.m. at the Peck Pavilion at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts (Water St. and Kilbourn Ave.). The LIVE audition finale is FREE and open to the public.

At the conclusion of the LIVE audition finale, the fun continues as the Bucks, SURG Restaurant Group and the Bucks Dancers invite fans and friends to SURG on the Water (102 N. Water St.) for a post audition celebration. Complimentary appetizers and beverage specials will be provided. Doors for the official after party of the LIVE audition finale will open at 8:30 p.m.

Fans can still vote for their favorite 10 finalists (http://www.nba.com/bucks/entertainment/dancers/auditions/vote) until 7 p.m. tonight. One of the top 10 finalists will be guaranteed a spot on the 2014-15 Milwaukee Bucks Dancers. Additionally, one lucky fan who registers their fan favorite vote will win four (4) courtside club seats, an autographed Milwaukee Bucks Dancers photo and a $100 SURG Restaurant Group gift card.

2014 MILWAUKEE BUCKS SUMMER YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMPS CONTINUE ? The popular Bucks Summer Youth Basketball Camps continue this week and throughout the remainder of the summer, as the Bucks invite boys and girls ages 7 and up to participate in any of the remaining three camp sessions ? including the special Elite Camp ? that will take place throughout the area.

Each camp session runs for four days, and all campers will learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and competitive environment. Campers will learn basketball basics such as shooting, ball-handling, passing, rebounding, defense and one-on-one moves, and each day they will be able to put their skills to the test in both games and shooting contests against players of similar age and skill level. All campers will receive a Bucks practice jersey, Bucks prizes throughout the session and a free ticket voucher to a 2014-15 Bucks game.

New to the Bucks Summer Camp slate this year is a special Elite Camp session for boys ages 14-18. This special session, scheduled for Aug. 11-14 at Milwaukee Lutheran High School, is designed to resemble a high-level collegiate practice program with expert instruction. The Elite Camp will prepare players for their upcoming high school seasons or the transition to the collegiate level.
