Elorde International Productions presents a double-header event this Saturday, July 26 at the Elorde Sports Center in Paranaque City. Elorde Gym's Bebong Manalo will go up against Jovel Marayan of Hardcore Boxing for 10-rounder featherweight battle in the main event. Roman Canto of Onyok Velasco Gym goes up against Gerry Pateno of Banares Boxing Stable for 8-round super flyweight bout in the co-main event.
Manalo has 8 wins in 10 fights and looks to come back from a 3rd round knockout loss against Rex Olisa in his last fight last March 15. Manalo's opponent Jovil Marayan has a dismal 8-17-3 win-loss-draw record and will attempt to register a win after 5 straight losses.
Roman Canto (8-4-2, 3KO), a protege of former Filipino Olympic silver medalist Onyok Velasco, tries to improve his record against Gerry Pateno who has a record of 4-wins, 6-losses and 2 draws.
In the supporting bouts, Dan Aldea faces Junar Adante for 6-rounds super featherweight; Jonathan Ligas goes up against Roy Lagrada, 6-rounds super flyweight; Mark Duran vs Elbert Guardario, 6-rounds, flyweight; Jun Blazo vs Ryan Medez, 6-rounds flyweight; Warlight Dapidran vs Diover Mangaya-ay, 6-rounds super featherweight; Jose Misako vs Mark Postrano, 6-rounds flyweight; and BJ Sampton vs Rolando Prima, 4-rounds minimumweight.
The first bout starts at 6 p.m.
