Join Hall of Fame Boxing Announcer Al Bernstein and his special guests, Jeandre LeBeauf, the Creator and head writer for the boxing site http://www,badculture.net and Claudia Trejos, Boxing host from ESPN Deportes as they preview the July 12 SHOWTIME PPV? of the Canelo Alvarez vs. Erislandy Lara bout through social media in a ?Boxing Hangout? that can be seen at www.youtube.com/alsboxinghangouts LIVE at 11:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday, July 8th and will be replayed all week.
"This is the very definition of a ?pick em' fight," Bernstein said. ?We don't usually see the best two men in a weight class facing each other. The winner of this fight will definitely be the best junior middleweight in boxing, no questions asked. We have plenty to talk about on this Boxing hangout."
Bernstein, who has been working pay-per-view cards since 1983, has called bouts featuring some of boxing?s most legendary fighters including Mike Tyson, Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran and Floyd Mayweather. On July 12, he will serve as lead analyst on the SHOWTIME PPV? presentation of Canelo vs. Lara, a four-fight PPV event. Bernstein will be joined by SHOWTIME colleagues Paulie Malignaggi, Brian Kenny, Mauro Ranallo and Jim Gray. The live telecast begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT and will be also available in Spanish through secondary audio programming (SAP).
