BUCKS ANNOUNCE 2014 SUMMER LEAGUE ROSTER PhilBoxing.com Sat, 05 Jul 2014  Milwaukee Bucks General Manager John Hammond announced today the team?s roster for the 2014 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Bucks players Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nate Wolters and Chris Wright will lead this year?s squad that is headlined by the second-overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, Jabari Parker. One of Milwaukee?s second-round picks in this year?s draft, Johnny O?Bryant (38th overall) will also be on the team, along with local collegiate standouts Ben Brust and Jordan Taylor (Wisconsin). Milwaukee is slated to open its Summer League campaign on Friday, July 11, at 7 p.m. CT vs. Cleveland in a matchup that will feature the No. 1 and No. 2 picks in the 2014 NBA Draft, Andrew Wiggins and Parker. The Bucks will continue their opening round play with games against the Phoenix Suns (Sunday, July 13, at 9 p.m. CT) and Utah Jazz (Monday, July 14, at 9:30 p.m. CT). Following the opening three games, the participating teams will be seeded for the single-elimination tournament that will culminate in a championship game on July 21. A consolation round will be held for teams failing to advance, ensuring that each team is guaranteed to play no fewer than five games. In all, the 2014 NBA Summer League will feature 67 games scheduled over 11 days at the COX Pavilion and Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The television ?Voice of the Bucks,? Jim Paschke, and Bucks.com crew will be onsite in Las Vegas, providing exclusive Summer League coverage that will include video highlights, interviews, scores, stats, photos and player features. Summer League Central, located at Bucks.com/summerleague, will be updated daily and is the official source for Bucks-related content during the 2014 NBA Summer League. Fans can follow and join the social media conversation surrounding the Bucks in Vegas using the hashtag #BucksSummerLeague. The Bucks will have three days of practice (July 8-10) in Las Vegas prior to Summer League play, which will be closed to the general public.
