REX WAO - 118 LBS, RIVERA - 116 LBS. FOR WBC INT'L TITLE (PHOTOS)

In a battle of undefeated, knock out specialist Rex Wao (L) weighed-in at 118 lbs while "The Prince Warrior" Virden Rivera (R) made 116 lbs ahead of their 12-rounder clash for the vacant WBC International Bantamweight (118 Lbs) green belt today at Andres Bonifacio Gym in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.
In the thrilling co-main event, Gensan's Ernie Sanchez (14-5, 5 KO's) of the Highland Boxing Stable tipped the scales at 126 lbs. His foe, the 34-fights veteran Randy Megrino of Iligan City, also made the limit of for the green WBC Youth Featherweight strap.

Also, in an exciting 12-rounder for the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) Featherweight title, glory-hungry "Sindagan Technician" Rey Perez (19-4, 4 KO's) and fearless Carlo Magali (17-7, 2 KO's) of Bohol made identical weight of 126 lbs, the limit of the featherweight division.
Moreover, the 22-year-old unbeaten Sarangani rookie Warlight Dapidran (2-0, 1 KO) -- first cousin of super star Manny Pacquiao -- and opponent Jerry Salivio recorded 135 lbs for their 4-rounder in the light weight division.

In girls action, cute and dangerous Carlean "Chay" Rivas (3-1-3, 0 KO's) of Antipolo, Rizal, made 115 lbs while Rochell Listino did 117 lbs for their super flyweight war.
For the opening the fight, Tanada Singwancha weigh-in at 136 lbs as foe Mark Sales made 134 lbs for their lightweight skirmish.
The official WBC weigh-in ceremony took place yesterday (Tuesday June 24) at the Grand Opera Hotel in Santa Cruz, Metro Manila.
Fights today (Wednesday June 25) at Andres Bonifacio Gym in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, start at 5pm.
