NBA EAST FINALS -- Heat storm to a commanding 3-1 lead
By Howell Labrador PhilBoxing.com Wed, 28 May 2014

MIAMI -- The Miami Heat blasted the Indiana Pacers, 102-90, in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Finals Monday night at a full-house American Airlines Arena here in downtown Miami.
Chris Bosh ignited the Heat offense with 25 points, including eight straight that gave Miami an 8-0 jump. The Heat never relinquished that lead and now hold a commanding 3-1 advantage in this best-of-7 showdown between two bitter rivals.
LeBron James had another superb effort of 32 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists while Dwayne Wade chipped in 15 points. Norris Cole and Ray Allen provided much of the Heat's bench scoring with 16.
Chris "Birdman" Andersen did not play due to a thigh injury, but the Heat, who shot 32 of 69 from the field, 8 of 24 from 3-point country, and 30 of 34 from the free throw stripe, had more than enough to collar Game 4.
After leading the half 49-44, Miami put on the heat in the third quarter where they outscored Indiana 31-20. And when Udonis Haslem scored on a lay-up with 7:41 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Heat enjoyed their biggest lead of the contest at 94-71.
Paul George finished with 23 points and rebounds for Indiana while David West added 20 points. George Hill added 15 but Lance Stephenson, who has been terrific earlier in the series, accounted for only 9 points. Pacers center Roy Hibbert was also a non-factor with zero points and only five rebounds.
Game 5 of the series is Wednesday night (Thursday AM in Manila) at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
