Four-division world champion and M?xican icon JUAN MANUEL ?Dinamita? M?RQUEZ and former world junior welterweight champion ?Mile High? MIKE ALVARADO will host their Final News Conference for their 12-round welterweight rumble and the triumphant return of boxing to the Forum. The news conference will take place Today! Thursday, May 15, on the West Concourse at the Forum (3900 West Manchester Blvd., Inglewood, Calif. 90305), beginning at 1:30 p.m. PT. Joining them will be Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum and Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions, as well as other notable fighters who will be in action at Saturday's inaugural brawl. News conference check-in begins at 1:00 p.m. PT. Media may park in front of the Forum Club and walk up the ramp to the concourse. The fighters and their teams will be available for one-on-one interviews. Fans can watch the live stream of the press conference via www.toprank.tv, beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT M?rquez (55-7-1, 40 KOs), of M?xico City, M?xico, and Alvarado (34-2, 23 KOs), of Denver, CO., will collide in a World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title elimination bout. The winner will become the mandatory challenger to WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. M?rquez vs. Alvarado takes place on This Saturday! May 17, and will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing?, beginning at 10:15 p.m. ET/PT. The telecast will open with the 12-round Viktor Postol vs. Selcuk Aydin World Boxing Council (WBC) super lightweight title elimination bout. Postol (25-0, 19 KOs), of Brovarsky, Ukraine and Aydin (26-2, 19 KOs), of Trabzon, Turkey, are world-rated No. 1 and No. 2 by the WBC, respectively.
