Santos made sure that her first game in the 18th FilOil-Unigames Women?s Volleyball Tournament will be remarkable. This after the 18-year-old and former Pinoy Big Brother teen housemate helped her team notched their first win yesterday against Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod Lady Eagles at the USLS-IS covered court. The visiting Golden Tigress stunned the reigning NOPSSCEA first runner-up in 52 minutes scrimmage with strong attacks on the disarray Eagles? defense: 25-13, 25-14, 25-18. Santos, during yesterday?s post-game interview, said that she is very happy with her team?s victory adding that they enjoyed every match they played. ?I?m very honored to play for UST and given that chance (to play) in this UniGames,? the 5? 8? former Ateneo de Davao spiker said. ?I will give my best performance in every game I play to help my team. I believe that I have to pursue where my heart is.? As a person, the young volleyball star is also known to be thrifty, in which she saves her allowance to enable her to buy what she wants.
