EARLY RESULTS FROM LAS VEGAS: SOLOMON UD ABRIL, McCUMBY UD WATKINS

THOMAS & MACK CENTER ? The undercards for tonight's megafight between WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley and HOF-bound Juan Manuel Marquez are underway here.
Drawing first blood is undefeated welterweight Brad Solomon (L)(21-0-0, 8KO) of Lafayette, Louisiana who trounced by unanimous decision against Kenny Abril (R) (14-7-1-1, 7KO) of Rochester, New York of 8-round welterweight bout. Scores were 79-73, 79-73 and 80-72 for Solomon.
In the second fight, another undefeated fighter, Trevor McCumby (13-0-0 10KO) (L) of Glendale, Arizona exchanged knockdowns with Eric Watkins (10-5-1, 4KO) of Morgantown, West Virginia en route to a unanimous decision win of their 6-round light heavyweight bout. Scores 59-53, 59-53 and 58-53 all in favor of McCumby.
