Nonito and Mikey Helping in Mexico By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Fri, 20 Sep 2013 Away from the flashing cameras, boxers Nonito Donaire and Mikey Garcia are in Mexico helping with donations to people in need. The two popular former world champions have been promoting their coming clashes to take place in the same November 9 Top Rank card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and today they are in Mexico with their award-winning trainer Roberto Garcia of Oxnard, Calif. Nonito Donaire (31-2, 20 KOs) faces Armenian brawler Vic Darchinyan in a much-awaited rematch in the featherweight division, while his friend Mikey Garcia (32-0, 27 KO's) challenges Puerto Rican world champ Rocky Martinez (27-1-2, 16 KO's) for the WBO Jr. Lightweight World Title.
