Rovin Floyd Comboy of Gensan knockout Mark Jade Bitamor of Tacurong in the 2nd round of Jr. boys 48-50kg. Jonathan Salazar of Gensan stopped Angelo Fabruada of Talisay in round three of the junior boys 50-52kg. Jazrel Chan [54-57kg] outpunched Pasig’s Reniel Jay Conge while Christiler John Yumol [52-54kg] beat Davao del Norte’s Arthur Kent Chan, 5-0. Meanwhile, Palarong Pambansa 2025 gold medalist and Batang Pinoy 2024 bronze medalist Miguelito Bantilan of Davao City made a good start by stopping Marcholo Hagtungan of Malaybalay in round one by a referee-stop-contest. But three other boxers from Davao City failed to advance. Renz Clouie Neniez [jr. boys 48-50 kg.] lost to Danny Masanguid of Mati, 1-4 in the while Jhon Paul Alagos [40-43kg] suffered to Jhon Jeric Sumalinog of Tayabas. Carl Henson Gello [school boys 43-46kg.] fell to Keven Epat of Maguindanao by a walkover.
