NBA -- Jarrett Jack to join Cavaliers

SAN FRANCISCO -- Jarrett Jack, a vital piece of the Golden State Warriors' spectacular playoffs run, will leave the Bay Area for the Cleveland Cavaliers, reports the San Jose Mercury News.
The 6-foot-3, 197-pound Jack played 79 games for Golden State this past season and averaged 12.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 79 games in a three-guard rotation that also featured Klay Thompson and the spectacular Stephen Curry. Jack is a fan favorite among Warriors fans, but with the acquisition of Andre Iguodala, his days were numbered.
Jack's deal with the Cavaliers is reported to be worth $25.2 million for four years, with the final year of the contract a team option. Jack can't ink the agreement until July 10, when the NBA lifts the moratorium on all signings.
"I'm excited to be part of another journey," the 29-year old Jack told ESPN. (RSM)
