Team Philippines ready for Thailand Open Memory Championship on Saturday

Amphoe Muang Nonthaburi, Nonthaburi, Thailand -- THE Antipolo-Rizal Memory Sports Council Inc. and the Philippine Memory Sports Council Inc. bring its act to Bangkok as it compete in the 6th Thailand Open Memory Championship gets underway on Saturday (July 6, 2013)at the Kasetsat University.
Members of the team are Miguel and Rommel Landicho, Ro Linus Jagua, Khevin Christian Tenoso, Denise and Pauline Asuncion, Robin Simon de Jesus, Juliana Beatrice Tunay, Daniel Inigo Soriano, Ana Franceska Guillermo, Maria Esteliza Beran, Yeisha Paculan, Joi Ranz and Jan Ricci Munoz, Hanz Christian Natividad, Jamillah Nanzan and Stephanie Fernando. Delegation Head/ Coach is Marissa Deldio Dianquinay.
The team is being supported by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), City Youth and Sports Development Office - Antipolo City and LNJ Pop Music & Academic Tutorial Services, Inc-Antipolo City.
The annual tournament organized by the Association of Creativity Memory and Play. The one-day tournament follows the World Memory Sports Council standard of events that include Names and Faces (5 minutes), Binary Numbers (5 minutes), Random Numbers (15 minutes), Abstract Images (15 minutes), Speed Numbers (5 minutes), Historic / Future Dates (5 minutes), Playing Cards (10 minutes), Random Words (5 minutes), Spoken Numbers (100 seconds & 300 seconds) and Speed Cards.
In another related Memory Championship competition, all is set for the much awaited 1st Philippine Memory Championships on July 20 to 21 at the Makati Medical Center Auditorium in Makati City. With a theme Flex Your Mental Muscles, Make History is dully recognized by the World Memory Sports Council.
