NBA - Heat dumps Bucks, take 3-0 lead
By Ricardo Gardunio PhilBoxing.com Sat, 27 Apr 2013

MILWAUKEE -- The Miami Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 104-91, Thursday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center to take a commanding 3-0 series lead in their best-of-7 series.
The Heat, the No.1 overall seed in these playoffs who finished the regular season at 66-16, showed the heart of a defending champion with a mission. Sitting pretty, they now look to finish the sweep in Game 4 Sunday.
.
The Bucks started off the game red-hot, nailing 5-of-10 3-pointers and led by as many as 10 in the first quarter. But the Heat closed the gap in the second quarter and only trailed by two, 48-50.
Miami then went on an 8-0 run to close out the third quarter and take a 78-68 lead. The Heat kept the hot hand to start the final stanza and never looked back, even resting LeBron for the final 9:45 of the game.
Ray Allen played huge for the Heat scoring 23 points and hitting five 3's to break Reggie Miller's all-time record for most 3-pointers in the postseason with 322.
LeBron James tallied 22 points to go with six assists and five rebounds, while Chris Bosh added 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Dwayne Wade, on the other hand, really struggled, shooting 1 for 12 and finishing with only 4 points, the lowest point total in a playoff game for his career.
Brandon Jennings led the way for the Bucks, scoring 16 to go with eight assists, five rebounds, and five steals. And Larry Sanders added 16 points with 11 rebounds.
Brandon Jennings predicted that the Bucks would defeat the Heat in 6 games, and now it looks like they will need to do it in 7. (RG)
