This after all fighters seeing action in the scheduled card made their respective weights yesterday during the official weigh-in at the Guanzon Coliseum in Barangay Mansilingan of this city. Main event protagonists Rhay-Rhay Guanzon of Top Prime Stable weighed 118 ? lbs while Renante Suacasa of Surallah, South Cotabato need to sweat out for 30 minutes after registered 2-pound heavier than his limit. Guanzon aimed to extend his remarkable 18 win, a loss, and 5 KOs card, while Suacasa eye at improving his 11 wins, 8 losses, 3 draws with 5 KOs record, in the scheduled 8-round battle in the 115-pound category. Meanwhile, Guanzon?s elder brother, Jan Jan, recorded 132 ? lbs. while his opponent, Jilo ?Pretty Boy Hitman? Merlin of Surigao weighed 133 lbs. Jan-Jan Guanzon will parade his 18 wins, a loss with 6 KOs record in a 6-round undercard in the 126 lbs. category against Merlin?s 15 wins, 11 losses, 4 draws and 5KOs card. In the undercard match, Top Prime Stable?s undefeated prospect Junjesie Ibgos Jr. of Himamaylan City registered 126 while Johnrey ?Tornado? Lorico booked 125 ? lbs. Supervising the weigh-in is GAB-Bacolod chief Donna Mae Martir and witnessed by JR Eagle Promotion?s Rev. Henry Guanzon. This event, in partnership with Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod and Gaisano City Mall Bacolod and sanctioned by the Games Amusement Board headed by chairman Monju Guanzon, will also stage amateur bouts featuring the top fighters in Bacolod City and in the province.
