NBA -- A Differrent Buzz Out West; Golden State Warriors Still on Top

Oracle Arena, Oakland, CA -- Golden State Warriors used a balanced attack against Indiana Pacers to stay on top of the Pacific Division as Clay Thompson, who led the Warriors with 22 points, and Stephen Curry's clutch shooting propelled the Warriors to a 103 to 92 victory against the visiting Indiana Pacers Saturday night.
The high scoring young back court of the Warriors appeared to be too much for the Pacers to handle. Stephen Curry, who scored 20 points, and Clay Thompson's sizzling first quarter shooting outscored the back court of Indiana, 42 to 27 points.
Jarrett Jack, who was big from the bench, contributed 18 points including a half court 3 pointer to end the 3rd quarter which is a bigger story. Warriors' bench out scored Indiana 38 to 27 points.
David West of Indiana led the Pacers with 23 points along with the hot shooting George Hill who scored 19 points on 6 of 12 clip including 3 of 5 from behind the stripe. Center Roy Hibbert was superb scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
Indiana fell to 8 and 9 after dropping the last game of a rather successful road trip out West beating Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings. (Joan Secuya-Medida)
