CASIMERO TITLE DEFENSE REPLAY AT 7:30 P.M. ON AKTV IBC 13

IBF light flyweight champion Johnriel Casimero?s successful title defense against undefeated Mexican Pedro Guevara (18-0, 13 KO?s) will be replayed at 7:30 p.m. today on AKTV IBC 13.
The fight was telecast on a slightly delayed basis last Sunday on the ?Pinoy Knockout? series.
Casimero and his promoter Sammy Gello-ani visited the ABC 5 offices yesterday to initially discuss plans for a possible Casimero title defense in the Philippines in November.
Casimero also presented his championship belt to ABC 5 President and Ceo Ray Espinosa who congratulated Casimero on his welcome victory which came one day after the heartbreaking loss of lone Olympic boxer Mark Anthony Barriga on a controversial decision at the London Olympic Games.
Casimero in a press conference yesterday afternoon said he is willing to fight ?anyone, anywhere? even as Gello-ani and ABC 5?s Bobby Barreiro began discussions on the possibility of a title defense on November 17 at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu.
Gello-ani indicated that no less than seven Mexicans are in the top ten fighters rated by the IBF and he would pick one of them for the title defense in the Philippines given the storied rivalry between Mexico and the Philippines in boxing.
