Indo fighters set to conquer Cebu!

The Indonesians are coming!
IBF Pan Pacific Light Flyweight champion, Angky Angkota and Sony Manakene of Indonesia will be flying in October 17th (Tuesday) for their much awaited battle against two of Cebu?s elite boxers, Z Gorres and AJ Banal in the ?WAR IN THE RING? boxing promotion.
Gorres, who is currently the WBO No.1 Super Flyweight contender, will face against Sony Manakane. Touting a 12 fight record who lost only twice in his professional career, Manakane will prove to be a tough test for Gorres.
Angkota, slated to fight AJ Banal, flaunts an impressive 17-3 win-loss fight record with 11 of his wins not lasting the distance, has warranted the repute as a Filipino beater having beaten countless Filipino contenders with the likes of Sonny Boy Jaro, Isidro Lorona, Marvin Tampus and even two other ALA boys, Rocky Fuentes and Donnies Nietes.
Incidentally, this will be Angkota?s first fight out of his home country, Indonesia.
Arriving in Tuesday afternoon via Singapore Airlines from Jakarta, the two tough Indon warriors will be facing the local media hosted by the posh Japanese restaurant, Senryu, at Salinas Drive, Lahug.
Sponsored by Tanduay, the No. 1 Rhum and covered for television by Solar Sports, this SGG Sports Promotions mega-boxing event sbowcases some of the country?s upcoming talents in boxing.
Special attraction bouts will include two other undefeated pugs from the ALA stable namely Mark Jason Melligen and former 2-time National Gold Medalist Milan Melindo.
Both Melligen and Melindo will be trading mitts against their counterparts from Mindanao.
Billeted at the luxurious Richmond Plaza Hotel in uptown Cebu, the two Indonesians with their trainer, are arriving early in the Queen City forewarning the Filipino simonpures they are here to beat them.
