FULL CARD ANNOUNCED FOR SATURDAY NIGHT'S "S?LO BOXEO TECATE" EVENT AT THE PHOENIX CLUB IN ANAHEIM, CALIF. PhilBoxing.com Sat, 07 Apr 2012 LOS ANGELES, April 6 - The next generation of Southern California boxing stars will be out in force this Saturday, April 7 when Golden Boy Promotions presents a hard-hitting event at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, California. In a doubleheader that will be featured on TeleFutura's "S?lo Boxeo Tecate," unbeaten junior lightweight Ronny Rios of Santa Ana will face Buffalo, New York's Guillermo Sanchez in the eight round main event, while Oxnard's Hugo "The Boss" Centeno meets up with Gerardo Prieto in an eight round junior middleweight co-feature. Three bouts will round out the night including a four round featherweight matchup between Los Angeles' Julian Ramirez (1-0, 1 KO) and Chula Vista's Salvador Cifuentes (1-3). A former amateur star, Ramirez scored a first round knockout in his professional debut in February and he's looking for a similar result this Saturday. Also in action will be East Los Angeles' Xavier Montelongo (1-0) who will risk his perfect record in a four round junior lightweight clash against Las Vegas' Rocco Espinoza (3-3). A four lightweight round fight between debuting Palmdale product Johnny Reyes and Dallas' Jose Ortiz (0-2) rounds out the show. This night of world-class professional boxing presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate.
