Vargas let his ring generalship and speed overwhelm Paitis who got trapped in the corner with a left hook against the ropes that hurt him. Vargas closed out the fight with another thundering left hook that knocked Paitis out cold. It took a couple of minutes for Paitis to be revived into consciousness as he was dazed, confused and unaware to what happened in the last moments of the fight. Co-feature -Brandon Cook vs. Chris Aucoin Middleweight 160lbs (6 rounds) This fight was a very close and tangled fight like two bulls in the ring with locked horns pushing for supremacy. Lots of action and exchanges from the inside as if Ricky ?The Hitman? Hatton would have fought Juan ?Baby Bull? Diaz in the ring. Cook?s inside work rate, jabs and lobbing punches when he was able to gain distance took its toll on the very game Aucoin. Chris Aucoin took most of the punishment as he was busted and bloodied from the forth round on, he was persistent and kept coming forward no matter how many shots he took. Aucoin dished out his share on Cook, but he faded in the latter rounds due to Cook?s big punches. Although he was exhausted, Aucoin never gave up and took all of what Cook can dish out, he finished the fight on his feet although he staggered and was hurt in the last two rounds.
