WBO ASIA-PACIFIC TITLE FIGHT OF SALUDAR VS. PUMAR WILL BE REPLAYED TODAY ON AKTV CHANNEL 13 AT 5:30PM

The Filipino boxing fans will have a Sunday treat later today when the classic battle between 2 world-class Filipino fighters in their prime will be replayed on AKTV Channel 13 (free TV).
The event was held last August 6 in Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park in Kawit, Cavite. It was another offering by SGG Sports and Sampson Boxing LLC and was covered live by AKTV 13.
Before the fight, it was expected to be a slambang affair which will be competitive from start to finish. After the fight, all expectations for the fight was fulfilled and the buzz about the fight remained in the minds of those who witnessed it live either on TV or at the venue.
The Saludar-Pumar tiff was for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific flyweight title.
WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo, who supervised the bout, said the bout is one of his favorite boxing fights in a very long time as it drew fireworks as both fighters showed excellent boxing skills and fighting heart.
