SERGIO "CUATE" VILLANUEVA READY FOR WAR

Three champions are ready for war and will have action in the ring at the gymnasium ?Ni?os H?roes? de Tepic, Nayarit, next saturday as CANELO PROMOTIONS and PROMOCIONES DEL PUEBLO are proud to present this big boxing event, the fight will be shown by mexican tv network Cadena Tres.

Today at a magnificent press conference the local hero Sergio ?Cuatito? Villanueva, and Christopher ?Hurac?n? P?rez y H?ctor ?Chocolate? M?rquez, promised the audience that they will give everything to please the crowd.

Marlon Reynoso, member of CANELO PROMOTIONS addressed the public, media members and photographers that were at firsthand to witness this great event.

Sergio Villanueva (19-1-2, 12 ko?s), from Nayarit, Mexico. Is the current WBC youth world title holder at 126 pounds and will step into the ring to trade punches against the always tough Jos? ?P?lvora? Mendoza (10-3, 6 ko?s), who Hails from Jalisco, Mexico. The fight is schedule for ten rounds at a catch weight and for that reason the title will not be at stake.

Regarding the catch weight ?El Cuate? said, ?is not the first time that i fight at the lightweight limit or close to it, I feel good at this weight because there isn?t much sacrifice to make. He also mentioned that there is no way he is risking his carrer by fighting a little heavier because he has put on the hard work in the gym?.

In the main event of the evening Christopher P?rez the current Fecombox champion and H?ctor M?rquez the reining Mundo Hispano champion, they will duke it out at featherweight.

?Hurac?n? P?rez (20-1, 13 ko?s) is a fighter with youth, speed and better technique, while ?Chocolate? M?rquez (30-21, 21 ko?s) has experience and physical strength.

There will be 9 fights total, other fighters like Jos? Argumedo, Edgar Arroyo and Alberto Ar?as will also be on the show.
The rest of the card includes: Jos? Argumedo (Tepic) Vs. Mauro Guill?n (Qro) 8 rounds at flyweight ,Edgar Arroyo (Tepic) Vs. Jes?s Velazco (Jamay) 8 rounds at welterweight, Dennis Contreras (Gdl) Vs. Carlos Ortega (Vallarta) 6 rounds at bantamweight, Diuhl Olgu?n (Gdl) Vs. Juan Alvarado (Jamay) 6 rounds flyweight, Erick Guti?rrez (Gdl) Vs. Cristian Cort?s (Vallarta)6 rounds flyweight, Ramiro Robles (Qro) Vs. H?ctor Fuentes 4 rounds at bantamweight, Alberto Arias (Tepic) Vs. Juan Pedro P?rez (Las Varas) 4 rounds at flyweight.

The gates will be open at 7:00 PM.

WEIGH-IN

The weigh-in ceremony will take placethis friday at the Tepic Hotel at 12:00 PM
