The former WBO World Superflyweight Champion is celebrating his 21st birthday today, July 25. Marvin arrived last Wednesday from General Santos City and went directly to his promoter, Sammy Gello-ani of SGG Sports Promotions to inform him that he is now determined to stage a comeback and to reclaim what has been his. He came on his own effort without his promoter buying his airfare. He had a long talk with Gello-ani and as he looked at his framed picture taken when he was declared World Champion, he was teary-eyed. ?That is exactly where you should be Marvin. Not wasting your chances and opportunities. We are here to guide you if you let us. We cannot do anything if you do not want to. It is only you who can shape your life. Today, brings a chance to look towards the future, new dreams, new successes. So, don?t waste any single day. Work hard and be a world champion again.!? "Well, it is too early to tell but Sonsona promised to be more mature and change his attitude. He is still young and if he really means what he said, we will prepare a program for him where he can be a champion again in so short a time. He has the talent and power. All he needs is dedication and discipline to train hard." ?We plan to give him an activity fight ? one or two ? before a regional title and then world championship.
