TOP AMATEUR BOXERS FROM CEBU AND MANDAUE CITY TO HEADLINE ABAP CEBU / MAYOR'S CUP 'PABOKSING SA BARANGAY' PhilBoxing.com Fri, 08 Jul 2011 Top amateur boxers from different areas of Cebu will get to show off their potentials as ABAP Cebu / Mayor's Cup gets underway again, this time in Guadalupe, Cebu City on July 9, 2011. Leading the charge will be 2011 Palarong Pambansa gold medalist Rhezon Tarona of the Phil-Aust boxing club against Kitseron Garces of Sta. Cruz boxing club in 36 kgs. weight division. Others slated to compete are Gerwin Singson of Compostela vs. Joshua Francisco of Omega boxing club (36 kgs.), Christian Pareja of Compostela vs. Rodex Piala of Team Cebu City (45 kgs.), Raymund Namucatcat of Team Cebu City vs. Ernie Alesna of Toledo City (46 kgs), Axel Cabahug of Lapu-Lapu City vs Ruel Sumabong of Rex Wakee Salud stable (47 kgs.), Edu Rosal of Phil-Aust boxing club vs. Cherwelan Cantel of Mandaue City (48 kgs.), Allan Refuella of Team Cebu City vs. Wendell Echeron of Mandaue city (52 kgs.), Jerry Castroverde of Omega boxing stable vs. John Kenan Vilaflor of Team Cebu City (54 kgs.), Clifford Loreto of Omega boxing club vs. John Rey Melligen of Mandaue City (57 kgs.), Elmo Traya of Mandaue City vs. James Castil of Team Cebu City (59 kgs.), Cadong Pepito of Compostela vs. Alvin Remandeman of Mandaue City (63 kgs.) and Raymund Penalosa of Team Cebu City vs. Hiroshi Lubosta- Phil-Aust Boxing club (67 kgs.).
