BANAL HEADS EXCITING PINOY PRIDE 7 PUBLIC SPARRING AT THE HOOPS DOME IN LAPU LAPU CITY PhilBoxing.com Sat, 02 Jul 2011  WBO Bantamweight Champion AJ "Bazooka" Banal will headline the PINOY PRIDE 7: BATTLE AT MACTAN PUBLIC SPARRING SESSIONS at the HOOPS DOME in Lapu-Lapu City 5 PM today July 2, 2011. Banal, one of the Philippines hottest prospects will be taking his training and preparation to the boxing fans of Lapu Lapu City at the Hoops Dome for his scheduled WBO Bantamweight title defense against the colorful and entertaining brawler in Tyson Cave of Canada. The seventh edition of ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports' PINOY PRIDE mega boxing event series is scheduled on July 30, 2011 at the fully air conditioned Hoops Dome and will also feature named fighters like Michael Domingo and KO sensation Lorenzo Villanueva now fighting for ALA Promotions. The sparring sessions will feature eight bouts with two rounds each led by top named fighters Banal vs Mark Acub, Michael Domingo vs Gil Melligen, Lorenzo Villanueva vs exciting prospect Mark Bernaldez, James Bacon vs Eusebio Baluarte and Albert Pagara vs Marjhon Yap. The fun filled sparring afternoon will also feature the crowd favorite Jun "Flash" Intor who will be poking fun and fists at Crispin Parba. Rounding up the fight card will be Canillas brothers Arjan and Ryan going up against Welbeth Loberanis and Zaldy Aroa respectively.
