THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE BOXING SERIES "FIGHT NIGHT"

In association with Warriors Boxing and Blue Wave Group, Boxing Series "Fight Night at The Cosmopolitan" to be Televised live on ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights" March 25

LAS VEGAS - Beginning Friday, March 25, 2011 The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will present "Fight Night at The Cosmopolitan," to be televised live on ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights."Inconjunction with Warriors Boxing Promotions and Blue Wave Group, The Cosmopolitan proudly presents a unique and glamorous evening of world-class professional boxingat the city's newest luxury resort. Tickets go on sale Monday, February 28 and are priced at $50, $75 and $250 for the VIP experience which includes a private section with comfortable sofa style seating and complimentary cocktails and are available for purchase at www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com.

"Fight Night at The Cosmopolitan" will combine the mystique and excitement of legendary Las Vegas boxing matches with a new and socially dynamic VIP experience. The Friday Night Fights Series will take place inside The Chelsea as well as at The Boulevard Pool, overlooking the dazzling Las Vegas Strip. The premiere fight will feature several members of the next generation of undefeated Cuban boxing stars including light middleweight Erislandy Lara (15-0, 10 KO's) in the main event, supported by light middleweight Yudel Jhonson (9-0, 6 KO's), cruiserweight Yunier Dorticos (10-0, 10 KO's), super featherweight Rances Barthelemy (10-0, 8 KO's), and light heavyweight Vilier Quinones (2-0, 2 KO's) in separate bouts.

"We are pleased beyond words to bringthis spectacular event to the new jewel of the Las Vegas Strip, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas," said an excited Leon Margules, President of Warriors Boxing. "This will be the inaugural event at this incredible venue quickly becoming the center of the Vegas experience. The future of boxing, fighting at the future of Las Vegas luxury -- it's a perfect match-up."

Luis DeCubas, President of Blue Wave Group and mentor of several boxing greats including Robert Duran and Cuban world champion Joel Cassamayor, is eager to present his current flock of up-and-coming Cuban stars on March 25.

"I look forward to showcasing this group of incredibly talented Cuban fighters at this important occasion. A high-profile event such as this is a critical stop on all of their roads to winning world championships."

Also scheduled to see action that night in separate bouts is undefeated lightweight prospect Hylon Williams Jr. (12-0, 3 KO's) of Houston, Texas and Oscar Torrea of Las Vegas, making his pro debut.

All opponents will be announced shortly.

On fight night, doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the first fight beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets for "Fight Night at The Cosmopolitan" are priced at $50.00, $75.00 and $250.00 for VIP seats, which include access to a VIP terrace, comfortable couch seating and an open bar and are available for purchase at www.cosmpolitanlasvegas.com.
