CANADIAN BOXING STAR STEVE CLAGGETT ARRIVES FOR PINOY PRIDE PhilBoxing.com Sun, 13 Mar 2011  Canadian boxing star Steve ?The Dragon? Claggett arrived Mactan Cebu International Airport 1140 PM last night March 12, 2011 via Korean Airlines flight KE 631. He was joined by both his parents and his close friends from Canada. Claggett W 11 (KO 6) L 0 D 1 who is one of Canada?s most promising athletes will be taking part in ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports? presentation of PINOY PRIDE 4: PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD where he is scheduled to face Filipino fighter Romeo Jakosalem in an 8 round all out battle. The Calgary, Alberta Canada native said in an interview with FightFan.com said ?I promise to put up a good show and I will be going for the big knock-out. So, to all Filipino fight fans don?t blink. I am coming out hard for this fight. You don?t want to miss anything.? The WBC Youth Intercontinental Light Welterweight Champion Claggett has a Filipino connection in trainer Eric De Guzman for he himself is a Filipino Canadian. This will be the first time for team Claggett to fight outside of Canada and both are very excited to be part of this international promotion. The 21 year old Claggett is one of the five foreign fighters that ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports are flying in to be part of their mega boxing promotion PINOY PRIDE 4: PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD will be joined by his loyal followers from Canada. Also expected to witness the boxing event is Canadian based Ace Freeman of Fightfan .com who will be covering the PINOY PRIDE 4 event from the 15th of March to the 22nd. PINOY PRIDE 4: PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD is scheduled on March 19, 2011 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
