"S?LO BOXEO TECATE" CLASSICS RETURNS FRIDAY NIGHT WITH EXCITING KNOCKOUTS FROM MAIDANA AND LINARES PhilBoxing.com Fri, 11 Mar 2011 Marcos Maidana vs. Victor Cayo & Jorge Linares vs. Oscar Larios On The March 1 Broadcast LOS ANGELES, March 10 - On Friday, March 11, TeleFutura will deliver its own version of "March Madness" with two explosive fights from the careers of hard-hitting stars Marcos Maidana and Jorge Linares as a special edition of "S?lo Boxeo Tecate" Classics re-airs past fights of both boxing stars. In the main event, fight fans will get a preview of Marcos "El Chino" Maidana ahead of his April 9 showdown with the legendary Erik "El Terrible" Morales as he battles previously unbeaten Victor Manuel Cayo in this March 27, 2010 bout for the WBA Super Lightweight Interim World Title. In the co-featured "classic," former Two-Division World Champion Jorge "El Ni?o De Oro" Linares will be featured in the bout in which he won his first world title on July 21, 2007, defeating Mexican great Oscar "Chololo" Larios in the tenth round of their action-packed war for the WBC Featherweight Championship. The special presentation of "S?lo Boxeo Tecate" is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate and AT&T and will air on TeleFutura at 11:30pm ET / PT (10:30pm CT).
