PINOY PRIDE 5: 'BATTLE OF CHAMPIONS' SLATED

ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports will be holding the press conference for the highly anticipated and exciting mega boxing event PINOY PRIDE 5: BATTLE OF CHAMPIONS this Thursday at the new Diamond Suites and Residences Philippines.
Expected to grace the said affair are the featured top Filipino fighters WBO Minimumweight World Champion Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes, WBO Youth Asia Pacific Champion Jason Pagara, PABA Bantamweight Champion Roli Gasca and WBO Oriental Featherweight Champ Lorenzo Villanueva. ALA Promotions President and CEO Michael Aldeguer will likewise be in attendance.
Members of the Sports Writers Association of Cebu together with media from television will be addressing their questions to the boxers and the ALA Promotions top honcho at the newest hotel in the Queen City of the South, Diamond Suites and Residences.
PINOY PRIDE 5: BATTLE OF CHAMPIONS will feature Nietes? first fight as a light flyweight and will be facing Armando Vasquez of Mexico. A championship fight will also be staged as Lorenzo Villanueva is set to defend his WBO Oriental Featherweight Title.
In other news, PINOY PRIDE 4: PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD stars Milan ?El Metodico? Melindo, AJ ?Bazooka? Banal and Rocky Fuentes together with their coaches and trainers will likewise be appearing on ABS-CBN Cebu?s television show Maayong Buntag Kapamilya and will be checking in radio programs at DYAB and MOR Thursday March 10, 2011.
