Francisco wins PBF flyweight title

LOCAL bet Albert “Chavacano Warrior” Francisco overpowered former WBO Asia Pacific Youth champion Robert “Inggo” Paradero of Malaybalay City to win the PBF flyweight champion last February 21 at the Mayor Vitaliano Agan Coliseum in Zamboanga City.
The 25-year-old Francisco outpointed Paradero over 10 rounds to improve his record to 15 wins with 10 knockouts against one loss and one draw.
Paradero, 29, suffered his 13th loss. He has 19 wins and two draws.
Meanwhile, Weljone Mindoro remained undefeated by stopping Indonesian Wellen Reyk in the second round in the main support bout.
The 26-year-old Mindoro posted his 16th win and 16th knockout while Reyk suffered his 35th loss against 22 wins and four draws.
