ROACH: "NO NEED FOR HEAVYWEIGHTS!" By Anthony 'Duljoman' Andales PhilBoxing.com Thu, 13 Jan 2011 Duljo Lane via SC ? Roach told this writer yesterday that boxing doesn't need heavyweights as of the moment. With Manny Pacquiao heading the pack of diminutive but very dangerous talents in lower division, Roach told me that we can leave the heavyweight division open. Also, the multi-titled trainer emphasized that Shane Mosley?s two previous fights don't mean that Mosley is not capable of giving Pacquiao a good fight. "We will be preparing for a hungry and the best Mosley, the one who knocked out Margarito," said Roach. "I hate to lose Anthony, and for 2011 I?m looking forward for another winning season." The bespectacle trainer added, "Manny and I already captured the unimaginable, but I still want him to fight Mayweather. If that won?t happen, so be it. But if a Mayweather fight happens, that would be the icing on the cake for both me and Manny." Kumbatea! Oh!BeerTime? Donaire is taller than Montiel, that would be a factor on Feb. 19? but if Montiel targets the body of Donaire and continue hitting him on the ribcage, then he might get a chance right there? I guess in the battle of the birds in NFC, I like the Falcons vs Seahawks? then Patriots versus Steelers would be very exciting? So Carmelo Anthony might have already played his last game in Denver, he?s averaging single digit in 6 or 8 games? that?s not healthy for the Nuggets? A Carmelo, Hamilton and Billups in Jersey looks good, an Atlanta Hawks level I guess? if Spurs keeps healthy they can beat the Lakers, they?re more hungry, they play better team defense and offense in the West? this should be the right time for my Jazz to pass through the Lakers, this is their chance? What happened to the Hornets?... The PBA?s salary is P30,000 a month minimum and P350,000 maximum, I remembered Patrimonio receiving P500,000 15 years ago? means lots of talents that comes and go?... Playing life also in PBA getting shorter and shorter? and they stagnate at 8 or 10 teams? I should say bring back MBA!!! Exciting, patriotic and more running less posing by this Belo type players? Happy New Year to my fellow Zero Brothers? and condolence to my childhood friend Alan Siguenza, his parents just passed away? our prayers are with you my friend!
