TWO TIME WORLD CHAMP PEREZ HITS CEBU

Two time World Champion Luis Alberto Perez and his team is expected to hit Cebu City tomorrow October 24, 2010.
Perez, nicknamed ?El Demoledor? which means Demolition Man is scheduled to trade fists with Cebu?s very own AJ ?Bazooka? banal in ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports mega boxing card PINOY PRIDE at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on the 30th of this month.
The Nicaraguan national Perez is scheduled to arrive at the Mactan Cebu International Airport 1:50 PM tomorrow October 23, 2010 via Philippine Airlines flight PR 0861. Joining Perez will be trainer Mario Antonio Garcia Fonseca and manager Luis Reynaldo Mendoza.
Luis Alberto Perez (W 26(17) L 4(2) D 0), has won the IBF Super-Flyweight title beating Felix Mechado. He defended the title three times with wins over Mechado, Luis Bolano and big name Dimitri Kirilov of Russia.
Moving up to Bantamweight, Perez also won the IBF Bantamweight title via 7th round TKO win against Genaro Garcia.
The Demolition Man of Nicaragua is one of the three foreign fighters ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports tapped to be in the PINOY PRIDE mega boxing showdown on October 30, 2010.
Other foreigners include Bladimir ?The Blade? Hernandez of Mexico who is pitted with the Mighty Mark Melligen and Sapapetch Sor Sakaorat of Thailand that is to match-up with young Filipino prospect Jason Pagara of Cagayan de Oro City. (PR)
