RECORD CROWD EXPECTED FOR "SANDUGO-LABANAN NG MGA KAMPEON"

Tagbilaran, Bohol -- The timetable has been set for ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports presentation of the highly anticipated 'SANDUGO - Labanan ng mga Kampeon', a major boxing production in coordination with the Bohol Sandugo Foundation, Inc and the City of Tagbilaran.
A record crowd of 30,000 is projected to attend and support the said event according to executive assistant to the Mayor of Tagbilaran Mark Monton as he and the partners have been working on overdrive campaigning all over the province of Bohol to promote the event.
ALA Promotions Vice President Dennis Canete and ABS-CBN Sports? Lee Japa were recently in Bohol to meet with Tagbilaran? City officials headed by Monton to complete and conclude preparations for this projected momentous event.
'SANDUGO - Labanan ng mga Kampeon' is a World Boxing Organization Asia-Pacific Bantamweight Championship headlined by the Philippines highly ranked AJ ?Bazooka? Banal versus Korean Champion Big Yoo and is set on July 17, 2010 at the Carlos P. Garcia Football Stadium in Tagbilaran, Bohol.
A press conference is scheduled on July 15, 2010 at the Island City Mall in Tagbilaran where a large number of sports journalists are likely to attend and the event weigh-in the following day July 16, 2010 still at the same venue.
To see action in the under card are Filipino boxing prospects Jason Pagara and James Bacon against other rated fighters out to spoil their records.
This boxing extravaganza has already contracted a significant backing and support from local sponsors in Bohol and is expected to be a well attended historic boxing experience to remember. (PR)
