BIG YOO CAN BE BIGGER THAN HIS NAME

PhilBoxing.com

Yoo Big.
ALA Promotions in partnership with ABS-CBN Sports and in coordination with the Bohol Sandugo Foundation, Inc. and the City of Tagbilaran, Bohol is out to present a mammoth of a boxing event dubbed as SANDUGO- Labanan ng mga Kampeon at the Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex on July 17, 2010.

This boxing event will be headlined by highly ranked Filipino AJ ?Bazooka? Banal against tough Korean banger in Big Yoo.

Born as Hayato Kimura in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan, Big Yoo who now is under contract with a Korean manager and resides in Seoul, Korea is set to invade and conquer Philippine shores and is out to upset a champion in the making, Banal.

Sporting a record of 16 wins with 11 wins via knock-out and having lost only 2 bouts, Big Yoo is by no means a pushover of an opponent having won the WBO Interim Asia Pacific Super flyweight title on October 11, 2008 in South Korea and is currently rated No. 7 by the OPBF and No. 10 by the WBO ASIA PACIFIC.

His most recent victory was against the Philippines BJ Dolorosa at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan where Yoo got knocked down in the second round and got off the canvass to beat the Filipino in 2:13 of the 5th round via referee stoppage.

Big Yoo has proven to have a big heart and could be bigger than his name if he upsets his next world rated opponent in AJ Banal. Yoo for his part has little to lose and everything to gain in this encounter

A Japanese confidant tipped off Team Banal through email and warned Banal of Big Yoo's arsenal saying the Korean has tremendous speed and would use the hit and run tactic to put off Banal. The source requested his name to be with held also said that Banal should be weary of Yoo's strong left uppercut to the body.

A win over the highly regarded Banal would mean a rocket like rise in his rankings.

Sandugo- Labanan ng mga Kampeon promises to give the expected 30,000 boxing fanatics an all out brawl and blood surely will be drawn at the heart of Bohol. (PR)
