Rumble at Rama XI - Ana ?The Hurricane? Julaton Media Workout and Photos

PhilBoxing.com

Ana ?The Hurricane? Julaton held her first Toronto media workout at Krudar Muay Thai Kickboxing gym in the heart of Toronto?s Chinatown District which lasted 90 minutes. Local and International media including representatives from a variety of Filipino media were present to witness an intense workout by Ana Julaton and Coach Nonito Donaire Sr.

The Toronto Media and fans in attendance finally witnessed in real life how ?The Hurricane? touches down in the ring. After a brief warm up, Ana did a round of shadow boxing to loosen up, demonstrating her ambidextrous utilization from both hands while fluidly advancing with her graceful footwork. On the second round, Coach Nonito Sr. stepped in the ring and he masterfully coached Ana with her movement in relation to her offense while shadow boxing together.

From the third round on, Ana put on the gloves to work Coach Nonito?s mitts and Ana showed what she was all about. For another 6 rounds, she demonstrated her arsenal with well balanced power, velocity and speed. Ana came at Coach Nonito ferociously in her attack, she also showed her calculating patience, waiting for the right moment to land accurate power punches where you could hear the pronounced impact coming from Coach Nonito?s mitts throughout the gym. Now it?s understood why she is called ?The Hurricane? because her type of offense will leave a path of destruction as it can be unpredictable and can come at you at any direction.

Overall, the open media workout performance Ana Julaton demonstrated today was nothing short of spectacular. In the eight weeks of training with Nonito Donaire Sr., Ana has translated the very best of his coaching and mentoring abilities into life. Based on how Ana has evolved for her fight with Lisa Brown, one can consider that she is now Nonito Donaire Sr?s. signature boxer as she is able to follow his strategies through her discipline.

This Saturday, March 27 at Casino Rama, the time will come to life when Ana ?The Hurricane? Julaton will finally face Lisa Brown at Rumble at Rama XI for the vacant WBA Super featherweight world title. Expect both them who are top ranked in the 122lb division to give it their all in a great fight that will raise the bar in women?s boxing.

Tickets for Rumble at Rama XI are $125, $75, $50 and $25 and are available in-person at the Casino Rama Box Office, and at all TicketMaster locations, by calling (416) 870-8000 and online at www.casinorama.com.
