(December 9, 2009) – World Boxing Organization (WBO) junior welterweight champion TIMOTHY BRADLEY JR., WBO interim junior welterweight champion LAMONT PETERSON, World Boxing Council (WBC) / World Boxing Association (WBA) super flyweight champion VIC DARCHINYAN and WBC interim super flyweight champion TOMAS ROJAS make their arrivals at Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa, in Rancho Mirage, Calif., next Tuesday for their world championship doubleheader fight week. This quartet has been in training camp for two months, each fighter rehearsing his unique style of chin music. Combined, they have a phenomenal record of 115-13-2 (72 KOs) -- a winning percentage of 88% and a victory by knockout ratio exceeding 66%. The Official Weigh-In (Friday, December 11 at 1 p.m. PT) will be held in the Cahuilla Ballroom at Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa (32-250 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, Calif. 92270.) The public is invited to attend the Official Weigh-In. ************************************************ Bradley (24-0, 11 KOs), from Palm Springs, Calif., will be defending his title for the fourth time since winning it in May 2008 against interim champion Peterson (27-0, 13 KOs), of Washington, D.C., on Saturday, December 12 in The Show at Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa. Promoted by Gary Shaw Productions and Thompson Boxing Promotions, in association with Top Rank and Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa, the fight will be televised live on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the west coast.) The telecast will open with Darchinyan (32-2-1, 26 KOs), of Armenia, defending his titles against Rojas (32-11-1, 22 KOs), of Mexico.
