LATEST GORRES UPDATE: RECOVERY PROGRESS IS VERY GOOD

ALA Promotions President Michael Aldeguer has released the following statement on Z Gorres' condition. Gorres has had brain surgery Friday night at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas after Gorres was rushed to the hospital after collapsing in the ring right after winning his fight against Luis Melendez of Columbia at the Mandalay Bay House of Blues.
Aldeguer's statement follows:
Update on Z’s condition as of 6 pm, November 15, Vegas time - 10 a.m Nov. 16 Phil. Time. Z’s progress has continued to be very good. The brain pressure has remained stable. Monitoring was not needed anymore. Plan for tomorrow is to decrease sedation and allow him to be more conscious. They will start weaning him from the ventilator in order to allow him to breathe on his own… Please continue to pray for him. Thanks.
