FULL CARD ANNOUNCED FOR THE RETURN OF "FIGHT NIGHT CLUB" ON SEPTEMBER 24

PhilBoxing.com

LOS ANGELES, September 22 - The stage is set for some late September fireworks, when a fearsome foursome comprised of Luis Ramos Jr., Charles Huerta, Ronny Rios and Karl Dargan take to the ring at L.A. LIVE's Club Nokia in Downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, September 24, for the latest edition of Golden Boy Promotions' "Fight Night Club" series.

"Fight Night Club" is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and AEG and is sponsored by Quaker State, EA Sports' Fight Night Round 4, Vitamin Water and Budweiser. Televised bouts will air live on VERSUS and will be streamed live on RingTV.com and Yahoo! Boxing beginning at 7:00pm PT/10:00pm ET. Doors open at 6:00pm PT and the first bell rings at 6:30pm PT.

Tickets, priced at $65 (Mezzanine VIP), $50 (Lower Mezzanine), $40 (Upper Mezzanine) and $28 (General Admission: Floor standing room), may be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 online at www.ticketmaster.com or thru any Ticketmaster outlet or the STAPLES Center box office.

Twenty-year old southpaw Luis Ramos Jr. (12-0, 7 KO's) hails from Santa Ana, California and after compiling 120 wins as an amateur, has been treating his fans to even more thrills in the professional ranks. Progressing steadily up the lightweight ladder, Ramos' last three wins have come over seasoned veterans Anthony Martinez, Baudel Cardenas and Sandro Marcos, a group with over 135 combined professional fights. The next man in line to face him is another expert of the fight game, Los Mochis Sinaloa, Mexico's Cristian Favela (16-20-6, 9 KO's), who has battled against five unbeaten prospects in the last year and a half alone. Ramos and Favela will meet in a six round lightweight bout.

Paramount, California's Charles Huerta (11-1, 6 KO's) is never in a boring fight and that attitude has garnered him an impressive group of followers since he turned pro in 2007. Winner of 11 of his first 12 bouts, including big victories over the respected Andres Ledesma and unbeaten Noe Lopez Jr., Huerta is eager to get back into the ring after a disappointing setback against Derrick Wilson and once again show why he's considered one of the featherweight division's brightest prospects. Mexico-born Rodrigo Aranda (8-10-2, 2 KO's) now makes his home in Las Vegas, but on September 24, he's going to try and make LA his home for the night by spoiling Huerta's attempt to get back in the win column. Huerta and Aranda will clash in a six round featherweight bout.

Former National Golden Gloves and two-time U.S. Amateur Champion Ronny Rios (6-0, 2 KO's) made a habit of winning in the amateur ranks and he hasn't let up since entering the professional game in 2008. A talented battler who is getting better with each bout, the 19-year-old Rios defeated the aforementioned Rodrigo Aranda in his Club Nokia debut in July and the Santa Ana, California native is looking forward to notching another victory in LA on September 24. Culiacan Sinaloa, Mexico's Manuel Sarabia (16-29-9, 10 KO's) is bound to have something to say about that though and with the nickname "Diablito", you can rest assured that the 31-year-old will be bringing the heat on fight night. Rios and Sarabia face off in four round featherweight battle.

One of the top amateurs to come out of the USA Boxing program in recent years, Philadelphia's Karl Dargan (4-0, 2 KO's) is certainly welcome out west, where he has fought all four of his professional fights. Fresh off of a fourth round stoppage of Rudy Valdez in Tucson, Arizona on April 10, the Naazim Richardson-trained Dargan hopes to make it five in a row next week when he faces Rynell Griffin (5-1-1, 1 KO) of Bridge City, Louisiana in a six round lightweight bout.

Opening up the televised portion of this card will be East Los Angeles native Eric Gudoy making his professional debut against an opponent to be determined in a four round lightweight bout.

Also in action on September 24 will be popular Glendale, California lightweight Art Hovanessian (8-0-1, 3 KO's), who will put his unbeaten record on the line in a six round bout against an opponent to be determined and San Bernardino, California's Juan Sandoval making his professional debut against LA's own Victor Martinez (0-1) in a four round lightweight bout for Southern California bragging rights.
