DONAIRE SR TO TRAIN SONSONA! GLENN DONAIRE TO RETURN

Topnotch Filipino boxing trainer Nonito Donaire Sr has been added to Team Marvin Sonsona to help prepare the teenager for his September 4 WBO superfly challenge against 37-year-old Jose "Carita" Lopez in Ontario, Canada.
Sonsona's American promoter Sampson Lewkowicz and his Filipino counterpart Sammy Gello-ani have both agreed that the young fighter needs a step up in the quality of his training, hence they have hired Donaire Sr to do the job.
Donaire Sr will work in tandem with Sonsona's long-time trainer Jhun Agrabio.
Meanwhile, Donaire Sr also informed that his son Glenn, who enjoys the support of the entire Donaire clan, is set to return to boxing after a year's rest.
"We are just awaiting for his manager Cameron Dunkin to give him his next fight," informed Donaire Sr, who is set to arrive in Cebu on Wednesday.
